I honestly cannot believe how divided the internet is over Lindsay Clancy. I think a huge part of the reaction comes down to cognitive dissonance: people are struggling to reconcile a loving mother with education, money, family support, access to doctors, and something this horrific. Sometimes, when reality is too uncomfortable to sit with, people find another explanation.
